Gluten Free & Vegan (mostly) Feast
Short post tonight. Just wanted to share last nights' dinner with you.
Salad: nothing fancy, but welcome the crunchy goodness
Kale chips: on a kick with them, as you know from my last post.
Spanish Lentils: recipe from this blog. Love them! Have been eating leftovers for the last few days.
Homemade Sesame Salad Dressing: anyone interested in the recipe? say the word!
Quinoa Tabouli: one of my fave redux recipes, so easy to make gluten free by simply substituting quinoa for the bulghur.
Kalamata Olives: addicted to them.
Goat Cheese: I don't eat it but served it to hubbie and dinner guests.
Vegan & Gluten Free Dinner Rolls: Silly me, forgot to add gluten free to the label. It's such a given in my life that sometimes I forget to mention it:). based on this recipe with lots of my own substitutions.
Roasted Sweet Potato Fries: roasted with agave and vegan worcestershire and Frank's Red Hot Sauce.
Tofu Bacon: from this recipe at Notes from the Vegan Kitchen blog. first time making them. Delish though a bit temperamental.
I'm going to the blogher conference in San Francisco and am beyond excited!!!! I'm sure I'll have lots to share upon my return. Thanks for visiting!!!
That quinoa tabouli looks so good, yum!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean able gluten free being such a given in your life you forget, the other day at the dentist I ticked the 'no' box for allergies/intolerances! I don't know what the receptionist thought when I had to go back and change it!
What a feast! Looks great.
